Jack the Ripper: Britain's Rreatest Unsolved Mystery. One of our TOP all-time episodes. In August of 1888 an outbreak of brutal crimes began that shocked Victorian England and put Scotland Yard back on its heels. One man, apparently acting alone, was butchering prostitutes in the poor Whitechapel area in London's East End, and the police were powerless to stop him. The newspapers gave him the name "Jack The Ripper". Today, hundreds of books and video documentaries claim to have found the real killer, but DNA claims have been brought into question and many theories as to the killer's identity have been brought forward and subsequently discounted. Join us for this two part special and learn why Jack The Ripper's real identity has never been proven, who his victims were, who the suspects were, and who the top detectives believed committed the crimes.   Music: Dark Tension Rising- Cupelli - Official Mattia Cupelli Music Website: Something Wicked- Ross Bugden TWITTER! : (@rossbugden) #jacktheripper
